Quick answer
IW322021 is an IWC reference number. A replica equivalent is the Chinese-made copy that matches that reference. There is no official equivalent. Factories build their own versions at different levels of accuracy. Buyers compare three things: case diameter, dial layout, and movement type.

The reference number
IWC reference numbers start with IW and carry six digits. The first digits group the case and movement family. The last digits identify the dial, hands, and strap. Public IWC records did not confirm which exact model carries IW322021 at the time of writing. Confirm the model with IWC or an authorized dealer before you compare copies.

Factories that list IWC models
Chinese factories that sell IWC copies include ZF, V6F, MKS, APS, and TWF. Forum posts name ZF and MKS for the Pilot and Ingenieur lines. Factory names change. Owners copy each other. A label on a listing is not proof of origin.
Three tiers
- Low tier: 316L steel case, mineral glass, quartz or low-grade automatic, printed dial.
- Mid tier: 316L case, sapphire glass, Miyota or Seagull automatic, closer dial print.
- High tier: case milled to original dimensions, sapphire with anti-reflective coating, clone or modified movement, matching date wheel and font.
Points to compare
- Case diameter and thickness in millimeters.
- Lug width and caseback engraving.
- Movement: Miyota 9015, Seagull ST21, or a clone of the IWC calibre.
- Dial: index shape, font weight, date window position.
- Water resistance. The number comes from the seller, not a test lab.
Legal status in the US
Counterfeit watches are illegal to import and sell in the United States and the European Union. CBP detains and destroys shipments. Sellers face civil and criminal claims. 19 U.S.C. 1526 covers import of goods bearing a counterfeit mark. Personal use carries lower risk than resale in practice. The goods remain subject to seizure either way.
What no listing tells you
A listing photo shows one unit. The unit shipped may differ. No seller publishes serial number checks, movement tear-downs, or service history. Authorized repair shops will not service these watches. That is the gap between a copy and the watch it copies.
